BODY INK BOY WITH PRETTY GIRLS WEARING SUNGLASSES

When I found this guy I just had to have him !
Does anyone have a tatoo ?
I'm wanting one, but the idea of pain disturbs me-
Also, what will my tat look like when I'm 100 years old....O.K. let's say , when I'm 89 ( LOL )

  1. No, I don't have any because my tastes change all of the time -- and I'd hate to get stuck with something I've grown tired of! But I've worn temporary ones and had henna designs drawn on -- all give that special kick but wash off LOL! He looks like a wizard getting ready to cast a spell on those girls -- like this piece!

  2. Yes I do have a tatoo,It's a breast cancer ribbon and vine with 6 stars on my ankle.1 for everyday I've been cancer free.I'm due for my 7th this month, and yes I think it is painful.I do it as a celebration that I'm cancer free, but the pain is nothing compared to cancer and treatment.I don't know how people can do the larger ones.Mine gets a touch up every year so it has good color.

  3. Tattoos, what a subject to expound upon! I used to not like them at all- on any one. My whole attitude changed when my eldest daughter, (and only tattooed person in my family) got a rather large colorful butterfly tattoo on her lower back.
Since I loved her and didn't want to attribute to her some of my stereo/typical thinking about tattooed individuals- I was forced to change my attitude.

I know appreciate them and really like them!

But- I have an awful needle phobia (had natural childbirth with all my children to avoid needles!) so, will most likely never have one myself.

LOL, about how it will look when You are 89! Yes, something also to consider. *smile*

I do like piercings though! I would love a little lip hoop, but my hubby and kids would think I was "crazy" and so not me! LOL

Funny how our outlook and taste changes, huh?

  4. beautiful work! and yes, I do have two tattoos (the sun and moon). and yes, they were painful, but not unbearably so.

    i'm sure they'll be interesting when i'm 89, but by the time i'm 89 i doubt i'll care! :-)

  5. My Mane in the Wind : He does look like a wizard ! This is why being connected to creative people is so gratifying. You get a reaction, which is exactly what I seem to be needing these days * Smile *

Leah : Maybe you could send along a picture of your sun and moon tatoos ?- Of course that might depend on where they're located ( LOL )

Beads by Color ( Tammy ) : The breast cancer ribbon, vine, and stars sounds lovely. Sometimes " lovely " can also mean " painful "
    (((((((( Tammy ))))))))
    I'm delighted to know you have 6 stars going on 7 : Woo-Hoo !

Robin ( my beloved sister who supports me just as I am ) : Isn't it interesting how our children have such a strong power over us :)
As for tatoos- If I were to get one, it would have to be small and cryptic- so as to change what it means, in case I change what it means YKWIM ?
As for piercings-Maybe one more on my ear ?

    Blessings and Peace to Everyone-

  6. Love the art. Yes I am 51 and have 8 tattoos. The first ones were in memory of my grandson who died. In fact one of them is him as an angel. Love them all and well I imagine I will not look to good at 89 either so they will just match me. hehe We are a family wit tattoos. Hubby both daughters and I all have them. There are pictures and such about them on my old blog. http://ninniesplace.blogspot.com/search/label/tattoo
